If you're moving from an existing platform, a little sequencing avoids losing performance data.
Before you switch
- Record your baselines. Export current performance by placement, geo and creative. Once you've moved, you'll want to know whether results genuinely changed.
- Export your blacklists. A blocklist built over years is real accumulated value — import it rather than rebuilding from scratch. See Blacklists and placement controls.
- Export your audiences. Customer and suppression lists can be imported as CSV. See Importing audiences from a DMP or CSV.
- List your integrations. Which trackers and tools do you depend on? Check them against The App Marketplace and Third-party tracker integrations.
Bring your own supply
Existing SSP accounts, publisher agreements, exchange accounts and XML feeds can be evaluated for integration, so you don't lose relationships you've built. See Bringing your own supply partners.
Run in parallel first
Don't cut over everything at once. Launch a few representative campaigns alongside your existing platform, compare against the baselines you recorded, and migrate the rest once you trust the numbers. The 14-day trial exists precisely for this — see How the 14-day free trial works.
Verify tracking before you scale. A migrated campaign with a broken postback looks like a platform that doesn't convert. See Conversions aren't being recorded.
